Books I want to read in 2021 (#WritingFriday)

The last year was very tough for me mental health wise, but I started to read more Personal Growth books and discovered that they really helped me and I enjoyed them (a little bit too much haha). I tried to categorize my books-to-read-list for 2021 and this is what happened:

Personal Growth

  1. Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert
  2. Getting Things Done by David Allen
  3. The 7 Habits of highly effective People by Stephen R. Covey
  4. Atomic Habits by James Clear
  5. The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson

Society

  1. A Promised Land by Barack Obama
  2. I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou
  3. Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People about Race by Reni Eddo-Lodge
  4. Women Don’t Owe You Pretty by Florence Given
  5. Feminists Don’t Wear Pink and Other Lies by Scarlett Curtis

Novels

  1. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green (I just finished reading it and it was amazing!!)
  2. Locked Away by Grit Poppe
  3. The Fire On High by Elizabeth Acevedo
  4. The Watchmaker On Filigree Street by Natasha Pulley
  5. Clans of London by Sandra Grauer

I think that’s it for now….. I will update this list as the year goes on! If you have any recommendations please share them with me. I would love to know what your favorite books are!! Let’s all hope for a better year and that we don’t run out of motivation haha
